Sri Lanka family holidays
Family trips planned around real pacing. Short drives, flexible days, and hotels that genuinely welcome children rather than tolerating them.
The mistake most family itineraries make is treating children as small adults. Four hours in a car is bearable for you and miserable for an eight year old, so we cap driving days at three hours and we build in afternoons that do nothing.
Sri Lanka happens to be unusually good for this. The distances are short, the food is gentle, the wildlife is genuinely exciting rather than a distant speck, and the hotels are used to families. Our specialists who plan these trips mostly have young children themselves, which is not a marketing line so much as the reason the pacing works.

They talked us out of a hotel we wanted because it was wrong for us. That is when I decided to trust them.

We wanted our money to stay in Sri Lanka rather than go to a European booking company. It also happened to be the better trip.

Four itinerary revisions and not one sigh. Our two children were never bored, which I did not expect.
