Ceylon Lanka Trail was started in 2015 by Ruwan Jayasuriya, after eighteen years of driving other people itineraries and quietly disagreeing with most of them.

We are a Sri Lankan company, owned and staffed in Colombo. Our guides are employed rather than subcontracted, our drivers have been with us an average of six years, and the money you pay stays largely on this island.

We only sell Sri Lanka. Not India, not the Maldives, not Southeast Asia. It is a small country and it still takes a lifetime to know properly. That focus is the whole reason to book with us rather than an operator who sells forty destinations from an office in London.

We publish real prices, we name the hotels, and we tell you when a plan will not work. Occasionally that costs us a booking. It has never once cost us a client.
